Why we started Happy Crates

Happy Crates is a small wedding decoration business that I started with my cousin. As a bride-to-be, I was planning my own wedding which eventually gave me the inspiration to set up Happy Crates.

I noticed that many brides were DIY-ing their own wedding reception table as an alternative to the bespoke (read: expensive) options provided the bigger wedding styling companies. Everyone wants to have a beautiful wedding, including me, but not at the price tag it comes with.

As a budget bride, I have been through the whole search process of decorations, and I understand the pain of curating and ensuring that everything comes together nicely. The next thing you will have to deal with is to offload these decorations after the wedding.

We thought that there must be an easier and cheaper way to get around this. That made us start up Happy Crates to provide thematic bundled props for weddings. To help keep costs low, we cut away all the bells & whistles such as fresh florals, bespoke styling, assembling etc. But we ensured that we kept what’s most important to brides – beautiful styling at an affordable price.

All our bundles are designed tastefully, comes in easy to carry boxes with complete instructions on how to put everything together. So all you need to do is to collect and rope in your bridesmaids or groomsmen to set everything up on the day itself.
